The design studio of the New York City College of Technology in the class of the first two authors opened up in 2012 for international reviews. For Argument 7/2015 we presented such a project, focusing on the architecture program. Now we will focus on the educational experience, presenting all the projects reviewed so far by the third author at the “Advanced Design” studio, namely: Delon Lawrence – Theatre/cultural centre (spring 2012/13) - unfinished William Calderon – Brewery with restaurant (fall 2013/14) Grace Dubon – Hotel with spa (spring 2013/14) Claudia Tupayachi – Music school (fall 2014/15) Jose Zephurine – Media library (spring 2014/2015) Omar Teles – School of arts (fall 2015/16) The analysis will be based on the way in which computer assisted instruction can be adapted to teachinglearning-evaluating in the design studio. Comparisons will be performed with other initiatives in the field, discussing hereby the Open Educational Resources, and with the traditional design studio. The pedagogical concept will be explained (competences, contents). The contribution of the approach including this presentation to virtual mobility in frame of education compared to the one in research will be discussed.
