Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the literary culture and the sociology of the literary life. It provides a short discussion of the new experience of contemporary culture: life more and more often involves wreading (writing-reading). The author describes contemporary encounters with keyboards and monitors of all sorts, especially those in smartphones and tablets. Some time ago Ryszard Nycz wrote on contemporary silvas, however since then, after more than 25 years, it seems that the notion of silva rerum as well as metacognition can yet again provide an interpretative key for the most recent experience of wreading on screens. The article is also an attempt at describing various applications for smartphones and tablets which can be associate with the literary culture and intermingle it with other spheres of contemporaneity.
