Summary/Abstract: This work follows the path of the young girl Soong Qingling’s becoming a part of the political life or revolutionary and communist China. It starts with the brief story of her father Charlie Soong – one of the first Chinese people to convert to Christianity. His background and his connection to the revolution and SunYat-sen are also mentioned. Then the life of Sun Yat-sen and his connection with the Soong family are explained as well as the role of Soong Qingling in the political life of China through some major events from the beginning of the Revolution to the establishment of PRC.
