Summary/Abstract: Research skills, also considered as knowledge and creativity, are not isolated qualities of the individual. Skills develop and evolve together with other qualities, some of which are prerequisites, complement each other and support human development to perfection. The current report compares the characteristics related to the primary and secondary levels of creativity. Some personal qualities that determine the primary level of scientific knowledge and creativity are discussed and these qualities are categorized in three groups according to the way they modulate the scientific cognitive and creative process.
