Summary/Abstract: Report from a scientific conference attended by researchers from Poland, representing universities in Kraków, Gdańsk and Warsaw, and representatives of universities and rrchives from Great Britain (University of Oxford), Czech (Zemsky Archiv Opava) and Lithuania (Vilniaus Universitetas). The conference was held on the 450th anniversary of the final incorporation of the Duchy of Oświęcim into the Kingdom of Poland.
