Summary/Abstract: In the following pages we reconsider some points of view about the act of translating and its limits in the case of certain texts. Are the specialized texts untranslatable or, on the contrary, the only untranslatable texts are those containing lexical items which do not find their linguistic expression in the target language? More precisely, we are interested in a particular case of translation, and notably in strategies used by the translator who offered a French version of texts chosen from La lilieci.
