The Księżak’s response to Jacek Perzyński’s book Sekrety Łowicza i Skierniewic, Wyd. Księży Młyn Dom Wydawniczy, Łódź 2020, pp. 165 + [3]

Summary/Abstract: The article is a polemic with Jacek Perzyński’s book Secrets of Łowicz and Skierniewice. The author of the book, contrary to the title, does not present the secrets of Łowicz and Skierniewice. Out of 34 articles in the book, 12 are about Łowicz and only 10 about Skierniewice. The other articles describe interesting facts from the surrounding area. When preparing the book, the author mainly used studies and popular science texts written by local researchers. He used historical sources occasionally, therefore mistakes and errors appear in the book. The book is written in good language, but its layout is chaotic.
