Summary/Abstract: There is a space between what we are and what we would like to be, namely the imaginary. Without imagination there is no creation. This article emphasizes the importance of imagination as an essential tool in acting. The power of imagination as a means of creation fascinated all those who developed methods of training the actor, from Stanislavski to the present day.
