The Traces of Islamic Culture in Multicultural Vojvodina

Summary/Abstract: The traces of Islamic culture in Vojvodina are very rare, yet we could find them in different domains. These traces are to be followed in the language, in the domain of material equipment's, even in the nature. This article doesn't have any pretension to depict systematically, in detail every traces of Islamic culture in Novi Sad, in its environment, or in Vojvodina. The purpose of author is to emphasize the importance of the dialogue between Islam and Central and Eastern Europe and to accentuate the significance of the scientific focusing on the tradition of the multicultural and multiconfessional Vojvodina.
