Summary/Abstract: Russia’s military operation to Ukraine on February 24, 2022, has revived the “Russian threat,” evaluated by the West as the traditional other. In that sense, the threat of Russian expansionism has started to be talked widely by the Western world, especially by the Eastern European countries. Moreover, Europe’s security structure has become frequently discussed. Certainly, this situation caused Poland, that faces several problems with Europe, to increase her geopolitical importance. In this article, there will be a discussion on the question “How was the Russian-Ukranian War affected Poland’s geopolitical importance?” and the hypothesis, which suggests Warsaw has become a frontline for European security structure, is defended.
