Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect the creativity of children by obtaining the views of both Russian and Turkish preschool teachers. This study was created using qualitative research methods and phenomenology. The study was conducted in the 2020-2021 fall term in the Russian city of Ufa and in Turkey's Istanbul. 20 preschool educators (10 from Russia and 10 from Turkey) with different levels of job experience and education were selected, and the obtained data was analysed using descriptive analysis research methods. In light of the research findings, both Turkish and Russian preschool teachers said that parents' awareness of their students' educational needs rather than parents' education level contributed positively to students’ creativity. It has been concluded that teachers' use of stereotyped activities, not paying attention to children's interests and individual characteristics and having character traits that restrict students may have a negative effect on children's imagination.
