Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issues of the Ukrainian borderline and the specifics of national, ethnic and cultural identification in the socio-cultural space of Ukraine. It is proved that the theoretical substantiation of this problem contributes to the development of national interest, the awareness of which is a necessary component of the development of Ukrainian society.
