Summary/Abstract: The article examines the revival of public activity of the Ukrainian diaspora in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Second World War. The reasons that complicated such processes are indicated. The pace of development of diasporic life of Ukrainians in Bosnia during the 50-70s of the twentieth century is indicated. and noted the reasons for the downturn in the late 1970s. In general, the activities of Ukrainian societies in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Second World War and until the 80s of the twentieth century. underwent intensive development in the 60-70's. In the late 70's of the twentieth century. their activity ceased, and in many cells it almost completely disappeared. The decline was caused by several reasons. First, the processes of migration and urbanization. Second, the 1969 earthquake in Bosnia, which had tragic consequences - human casualties and destruction - undermined the financial situation of Ukrainians and forced them to continue migrating. Third, because of the secrecy of Soviet Ukraine, Ukrainians from Bosnia had no contact with cultural institutions in Ukraine and could not receive staff or other assistance from them. The achievements of Bosnian Ukrainians in the development of their native culture were less than they could have been in cooperation with Ukraine.
