The attention is paid to his activity as the head of the Ukrainian community ,,Kobzar" in the town of Smeredovo and the Union of Ukrainian organizations in Yugoslavia, as a representative of the UNR's Ministry of War in exile in Yugoslavia, his participation in the uniting movement of the Ukrainian immigration in Europe. The conlcusion is made about the fact that Pylyp Chorny's archive-investigation file is an important source not only concerning his biography, but also the history of Ukrainian civil organizations in this country. In general, the provided information was accurate and differed only in details (dates and surnames). Despite the fact, that the important aspects of his political activity and steps, taken by the Ukrainian political immigration in Europe in general and Yugoslavia in particular, were covered up by Pylyp Chorny, it didn't help him survive. In a month after the arrest he was handed over to the Department of defending the people of Yugoslavia. He was executed on the 30th of June 1940. In 1998 Pylyp Chorny was rehabilitated in Ukraine.
