Summary/Abstract: The author of this study focuses mainly on development trends of pragmatonyms from the viewpoint of their extralinguistic aspect, i.e. the aim of the research is an attempt to outline the development of motivational stimuli which provided the background for the formation of individual product names. In the article we do not pay special attention to development trends from the viewpoint of the linguistic (formal) aspect of pragmatonyms.
