Summary/Abstract: In this article, it will be determined how the relationships between the personalities and bodies of the prominent female characters in Orhan Kemal's novels are established. How the person uses his body to express himself and how these are interpreted by the author will be examined. Four novels in which the author featured female characters were selected for the examination. These novels are Cemile, Over the Fertile Land, There Was a Sprout, and The Bad Path. In these four novels, four female characters, which are seen to be in the foreground, will be examined by centering. These women are Cemile, Fatma, Filiz and Nuran, respectively. It is possible to make some determinations about the characters of these people from the descriptions made about the people in the mentioned novels. Orhan Kemal gives various roles to female characters in these four novels and these social roles contain clues about their place in society. This information, on the other hand, reveals the mood of the novel characters by giving various clues about their psychological state. In other words, it can be said that the author used these bodily descriptions in order to obtain various clues about those women and to better understand them. Fatma and Cemile live in similar conditions. One is the worker women who succumb by making wrong choices in the face of life, and the other is the women who resist against life. They are like two different alternatives of the same road. A similar interest can be established for Filiz and Nuran. Filiz is a good alternative to Nuran's story with a bad ending. These novels were chosen because of this similarity.
