Summary/Abstract: The author represents some aspects of the mechanism for cooperation and verification in criminal justice in Bulgaria. The legal amendment of the Penal Procedure Code made as a result of the implementation of the mechanism for cooperation and verification in criminal justice in Bulgaria is discussed in detail. Research contains several proposals for improvement of the legislation which have been formulated and substantiated.
