Summary/Abstract: Tema acestei lucrări priveşte originea problematicii formei fără fond, dar este conexă şi cu alte teme, cum ar fi problema suveranităţii (nu doar în sensul ce ţine de domeniul relaţiilor internaţionale) sau a nihilismului; de fapt este vorba despre modul în care se concepe pe sine, societatea, universul şi natura omul modern. A vorbi despre originile teologice ale problematicii formei fără fond apare un paradox, dar nu este aşa, când devin cât de cât clar unde se încadrează şi ceea ce a făcut-o posibil.
