Alternatives for Financing the Innovation Activity in Bulgarian Enterprises

Summary/Abstract: In today's high-tech world, innovation is key to the development of both economies and societies. But in order for the innovation activity in the enterprises and organizations to be successful, one of the obligatory conditions is that it be financially secured in advance. This article aims to identify the various alternatives for financing the innovation activities of Bulgarian companies and organizations and to bring out their features and characteristics. On this basis, guidelines are proposed to increase the opportunities for access to finance for innovation and innovation activity in Bulgarian enterprises. The article uses various research methods and approaches, such as methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison and causation, as well as systematic, integrated and complex approaches.
