Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the effects of work-family conflicts on the emotional labor of secondary school teachers working in the education sector. The study was carried out with the participation of 280 secondary school teachers in Bafra, Samsun. The data of the research on the effect of work-family conflict on emotional labor were collected by questionnaire method. The findings show that there are significant relationships between variables. It has been determined that work-family conflict has a significant effect on emotional labor. In addition, it has been observed that work-family conflict has a positive and significant effect on surface acting, one of the emotional labor sub-dimensions. Finally, it was determined that work-family conflict did not have a significant effect on deep acting and genuine acting, which are sub-dimensions of emotional labor.
