Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The health sector is one of the sectors where ethical principles and rules are most needed. This study was carried out to determine how and in what way business ethics practices influence organizational performance in hospitals. Design/methodology/approach – In this study, business ethics; The ethical attitudes of the managers, the ethical attitudes of the employees and the ethical attitudes of the institutions were handled in three dimensions and field research was conducted. The data is obtained from 387 doctors, nurses and other health personnel working in private hospitals in Istanbul through questionnaires. Findings – Six hypotheses were tested in the study. Four of these hypotheses were accepted and two were rejected. According to the results of the multiple regression analysis, it is determined that the ethical attitudes of the managers and the moral ethical of the institution from the dimensions of business ethics have a positive and significant influence on the organizational performance. On the other hand, it has been determined that the ethical attitudes dimension of business ethics has a positive but non-significant influence on organizational performance. Discussion – It has been determined that the business ethics dimension that influences organizational performance the most is corporate ethical responsibilities. It can be said that non-discrimination among employees and showing sufficient sensitivity to the rights of employees and patients will positively increase profitability, growth and market share, which are indicators of organizational performance.
