Summary/Abstract: In the study, within the framework of the protection legislation in our country and these legislations; The characteristics of a protected area (simultaneously) to have the status of a national park, a site, a special environmental protection zone, and a natural and cultural heritage or area that must be protected in accordance with international conventions, and the situations arising from these different protection structure(s), are revealed, Evaluations are made on examples. In this direction, first of all; Pamukkale Natural and Cultural Heritage, Special Environmental Protection Area and Protected Area, Uzungöl Nature Park, Special Environmental Protection Area and Protected Area, Mount Nemrut National Park, Natural and Cultural Heritage and Protected Area are among the spatial examples. Based on the importance of natural and cultural heritage, both legislation and literature were reviewed in order to determine the problems related to the definition, classification and management of the natural and cultural heritage. The method of the study is; It is aimed to present new approaches and solution proposals for the solution of the problems in the relationship between the manager-managed, that is, the service provider-service recipient, the dilemmas that state institutions, public institutions and organizations are exposed to, and their reflection in practice. As a result, the nature park, nature protection area, archaeological site, culture and tourism protection and development zone, forest, pasture, wetland, such as the simplification of the existing protection status within the framework of protection-use balance and the evaluation of these areas within the scope of protection protection. considered to provide significant benefits.
