Summary/Abstract: The current study traces basic concepts about multisensory techniques in education, and outlines the main outcomes in the education of children with dyslexia. A review is conducted of various studies on multisensory education in neurological and pedagogical contexts. The focus of the article is on increasing the reading skills and literacy of students with dyslexia through a multisensory approach and the use of visual, tactile, auditory, motor, and olfactory stimuli. This publication can support the efforts of teachers, special educators and resource teachers to implement multisensory learning and to improve the personal development of students with dyslexia, as well as of their peers.
