Summary/Abstract: Let go, let go, the world goes by itself Laissez-faire is a concept according to which the state should intervene as little as possible in economic activity, leaving the decisions to those who compete in the market. Classical economists such as Adam Smith believed that the role of the state should be limited, by virtue of the laissez-faire concept, to the following: 1) maintaining legality and order; 2) national defense; 3) the provision of public goods that private enterprises do not provide, such as, for example, medical and health services.
