Summary/Abstract: This paper addresses the assessment of effect of the sanctions imposed on Turkey by the United States of America in the year 2018 on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Turkey. The study used a cross sectional data from the 81 provinces in Turkey for the periods of 2016 to 2018 from Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Dummy variable with Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) estimation method is used to determine that how the sanctions affected the CPI over that period by looking at the years before 2018, the year the sanctions were imposed.
