Summary/Abstract: On 14 and 15 October 2021, the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic hosted an international conference titled ‘Migration Processes and the Mobility of European Jews at the Turn of the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Period’ (‘Migrationsprozesse und Mobilität der europäischen Juden am Übergang vom Mittelalter zur Neuzeit’) on the premises of Villa Lanna. It was organized by a research team led by Dr. Marie Buňatová from the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Due to the unfavourable pandemic situation, the conference assumed a hybrid form whereby foreign participants and other audience members joined via Zoom and only Czech speakers attended in person.
