Summary/Abstract: Good people everywhere have always considered war to be unworthy of the condition and life of the human person, because it represents physical, economic, psychological, moral, cultural disaster and murder, receiving the pathological stigma of antisocial crime. The topicality of the subject lies in the fact that recently all sorts of apocalyptic interpretations of the end of the world have been issued, lacking motivation and basis in the spirit of the gospel of Christ. Establishing that war, as killing and murder, is a mortal sin, the author first analyzes the origin and cause of violence and hatred that lead to murder; next, the issue of responsibility and moral conscience in the face of crime is discussed, and the punitive aspect of crime in Israeli legislation is presented, as well as the preventive aspect of murder proclaimed by the Savior through cultivating love for God and for the neighbour. In this sense, the Church, especially through her Teachers, condemns war and urges people to resolve their misunderstandings exclusively in a peaceful manner.
