Summary/Abstract: After the Islamic Revolution, Iran went to the point of using terror as a tool in order to fulfill some of its political goals. For the sake of its political goals, it has provided support to both religious and ethnic based terrorist organizations in neighboring countries, especially in the Middle East. It is evaluated that Iran may go to use terrorism as a political tool for its own interests, by taking advantage of the developments in the Syrian and Iraq geography and conjectural situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia. So, in this article Iran’s support to terrorism in the context of state-sponsored international terrorism was explained and within the scope of this support the relations with the PKK terrorist organization were revealed.
