Summary/Abstract: The Cultural and Educational Center „Alexandru Marghiloman”, hosted by Albatros Villa, the main component of the Marghiloman Mansion, is an institution of culture and education, but also a tourist attraction. Surrounded by a park, which retains the scent of ancient times, Albatros Villa is visited by hundreds of tourists, who come every year to enjoy the atmosphere and the original appearance of the place. Extensive cultural and artistic events take place here: book launches, literary festivals and competitions, theatre performances, concerts, openings, educational projects, creative workshops, computer science etc. Also, the Cultural and Educational Center “Alexandru Marghiloman” collaborates with various institutions and cultural associations in the country and abroad, with schools, local public institutions, contributing to the development of culture and education of the Buzău community.
