Summary/Abstract: In recent years, technological development had led to the immersion of new forms of communication and expression, forms that dictate the global mindset, especially among the young generation. If in the past it could be said that such a form of expression was represented by the media, now an increasingly important role is played by video games. As opposed to other countries, Russia has been depicted in a multitude of ways, most of them being perpetuations of old stereotypes. Considering this, the paper proposes to analyze the portrayals of Russia and its people in video games, and, as well, find the causes of Russian stereotypes in games and their influence on the global mentality.
