Summary/Abstract: The referential elements that marks the Albanian literary criticism, shown at the beginning of this paper, indeed serve only as an introduction to understand why Arshi Pipa differ from other critics who have written about Albanian literature. This particularity is clearly reflected when we compare him with the models from the literary sociological school, a school which has had a wide range in literary studies in general, but which in our literature is marked with the literary studies of Arshi Pipa. Pipa makes the sociological approach to Albanian literature obvious by offering in the title his method of study, which he prefers to call perspective. Despite this, Pipa insists that Albanian literature can be understood only by recognizing the trajectory of Albanian social developments. And precisely here we see how Pipa divides literary formations and what social attributes he assigns to a particular period, to an author or to a specific phase of Albanian literature. This best shows that for Pipa, the literature of the Renaissance created by the Arbëresh is a litteral translation of the Albanian soul, whether as a religious and philosophical line, or as a line of tradition. He also highlights the fact that in a large part of Albanian literature rural and pastoral signs are detected and, besides this, Pipa shows us the case when literature is transformed from this line of simple life into a very intimate personal perspective on the world expressed in aesthetic form, specifically with Migjen, the author who is most deserving of enlightening the school typical sociological of Pipa.
