Summary/Abstract: In this research, semi-structured interview technique, which is one of the qualitative data collection methods, was used in order to determine the causes and sources of family conflicts experienced by students receiving tourism education in their career choice and education process. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with 30 students who received tourism education in the associate degree program of Harran University. The main purpose of the research is to determine the problems and causes of family conflicts experienced by students who receive tourism education at the associate degree level. The reasons for choosing the profession by the students who prefer the tourism profession, the factors that are effective in the preferences of the students, the problems that the associate degree students who receive tourism education experience with their families and the reasons for these problems are evaluated with content analysis. It has be endetermined that the family attitudes of the participants differ and it is seen that different problems arise accordingly. Family problems faced by the tourism profession; physical/emotional violence and communication conflicts; the reasons for the problems they experience with their families; categorized as intra-familial and extra-familial causes
