Summary/Abstract: A today tabu subject is globalization with its advantages and disadvantages not only for the societies but also for the individuals. Unity in diversity, for example, is a slogan used at least in European policy today and it’s an aim even in social human relationships seen as a solution fighting against human discrimination. During Bacovia’s times globalization was not a public theme although it existed in world’s policies. Lecturing his poetry, today readers can observe a response of the poet about vanishing the differences and his anticipation makes his literary personality be actual or even visionary. The common point of poet’s vision and globalization policies is not the human discrimination, but the individual’s psychological power to accept the vanishing of differences in Universe. Our research aims to a description of Bacoviaʼs vision and to an explication of the causes that influenced his work in the direction of blaming vanishing differences in the world. In the bacovian vision, losing differences means the end of the world. We discovered that the causes of his apocalyptic view towards uniformization of the Universe could be explained by social, cultural and personal contexts. The custom vision of the fin de siècle, the program of the symbolism and the melancholic personality of George Bacovia, generate the apocalyptic vision communicated in his poetry. One of his apocalyptic vision particularities is the uniformization of the Universe and another particularity is the double focalisation, visual and auditive, on two alarming factors.
