Summary/Abstract: In recent years, research on destination satisfaction has been increasing in the tourism literature. Because, a satisfied visitor can increase the managerial and economic success of a destination. It is expected that the satisfied tourist will re-visit the relevant destination and recommend to others through word-of-mouth marketing. In this context, the study has three main aims. First, to determine the level of visitor satisfaction based on destination attributes; secondly, to determine the effect of the satisfaction on the future behavior variables; and thirdly, to reveal some destination qualities that cause dissatisfaction for tourists. The study is based on the observations of domestic tourists visiting Şanlıurfa, and no such research has been conducted here before. The validity of the structures of the data obtained by the face-to-face survey method was ensured by confirmatory factor analysis. Then, the final structures were analyzed by applying the structural equation model. As a result, destination attributes are an important predictor of satisfaction; In addition, it was found that general satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on revisit and recommendation intentions.
