The soldiers coming from the rural milieu of Moesia Inferior whose origin is certain: the cases of the praetorian cohorts

Summary/Abstract: The author analyzes the militaries coming from the rural milieu of Moesia Inferior who were enlisted in the pretorian cohorts. He takes into account only the cases in which their origin is certain. He studied the case of each soldier mentioned in the sources, trying to set the moment of their enlistment. The rural zones from the militaries are comng from are also discussed.
