Summary/Abstract: The Korean collective unconscious has two types of ghostly figures, the goblin and the revenant, or tokkaebi and kwisin. Our aim will be to show the differences in the construction of the female and male imaginary and how these two figures have been shaped by their cultural, historical and societal contexts.
