Summary/Abstract: The phonetic and grammatical structures specific to Romanian language presents difficulties in teaching and assimilation Romanian as foreign language. By focusing on the identification and analysis of the defining aspects of the study process of the Romanian language, both teachers and students will face a series of challenges (from simple to complex). The knowledge of the basic vocabulary, phonetic (orthoepic) and morphological structures is important for constructing the discourse. In order to correctly speak the language it is not enough to only know words from the basic vocabulary and grammar rules, but also students must assimilate the rules of pronunciation, lexical combinations.
