Summary/Abstract: In the context of universal linguistic globalization, this paper aims to present someways of adjusting loanwords from English to Russian, in the case of Russian economic terminology. Examples will be provided for the most frequent categories of loanwords adapted to the specificity of Russian. I shall also focus on a few difficulties encountered when adapting English terminology to Russian, as well as on some specific elements regarding the phonetic, graphic, morphological lexical and semantic adaptation of these loanwords in Russian economic language.
