Summary/Abstract: The article presents the periodical Polak w Indiach (A Pole in India), the press organ of the Delegate of the Polish Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare in Bombay. The journal was published in India between 1943 and 1948. It was a biweekly title that initially integrated Poles in India during World War II, and then satisfied their hunger for knowledge of the situation in Poland. At the same time, it also served as a chronicle of the Polish diaspora in India. The article’s primary purpose is to present the circumstances of the establishment of the newspaper, its topics, and the role it played within the Polish diaspora.
