Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the issue of undertaking work by people sentenced to imprisonment in the context of organizational environment factors in the M. Leiter model: workload, sense of control, rewards, social support, sense of justice and values. The results of research carried out on the territory of penitentiary units among employed persons serving imprisonment have been presented here. The obtained results indicate that recognizing the organizational factors responsible for the social climate of the workplace may be important for the effectiveness of the process of social readaptation of the prisoners working in it.
