Assyrians in The National Struggle Period

Summary/Abstract: The Assyrians that is one of the oldest people of the Mesopotamia has been divided into various groups because of the difference of opinion about the nature of Jesus. While the Nestorians that is one of these groups were living in peace without interfering their beliefs, religious ceremonies, and life styles by ttoman Empire under its sovereignty, they revolted against Ottoman Empire under the influence of western states during the World War I. They also involved in hostile acts during the national struggle. Assyrians and Nestorians situation in the National Struggle are tried to be expreesed in this article.
