Summary/Abstract: Therefore, the belief in the immortality of the soul and in the resurrection, promoted optimistically and spiritually by the Church, is materialized by the order of prayers for those asleep in the Lord, having as its theme what is known as “communion of saints”, understanding the communion between The “triumphant church” in heaven and the “fighting church” on earth, in the sense that, as believers have a duty, according to the apostolic ordinances, to pray for one another as a manifestation of love between them, so they have the duty to maintain the communion of love also through prayer for those who have passed to the eternal ones, in the spiritual unity of the Church as the mysterious Body of the Lord.
