Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is an anthropological analysis of the events that took place in Poland in 2016 and 2017. These were massive civil protests against government policy. Unlike most sociological and political science studies, the author proposes to interpret them in the category of infrapolitical actions. To thet end he refers to the concept of ‘infrapolitics’, once propouned by James Scott, and examines whether and to what extent it can be used to interpret the described events.
