Summary/Abstract: In this brief study, we have highlighted the literary formula as a way of escape from self-exile, coined by the writer Matei Călinescu in his original Diary, sometimes reinterpreted, of interest to the reader, both in terms of rendering a Balkan geographical reality, but especially as an initiation into the act of reading.
