Summary/Abstract: The authors of the article present information on the origin and evolution of some churls' villages from the old Roman country. The way the component villages of Stanita commune from Neamţ district (especially during thc XVII-XX centuries), has been parallel to the determination of the first documentary attestation of the Poienile Oancei settlement (the oldest of the above).
