Summary/Abstract: The ethno-geographic research, combines among its other analysis elements, types of settlements, the structure of the houses and establishments or the economic effect on the local community caused by the practiced occupations and trades. For Hudeşti commune, in Botoşani county, an area situated along the upper and middle course of Başeu spring, the ethno-geographic landmarks are just one incipient starting point for the analysis of major ethno-geographical issues of that community.
