Summary/Abstract: This article examines one of the traditional obligations in the field of banking, that of information, which falls on the credit institution from a new perspective. If in the matter of credit the obligation of information incumbent on the credit institution, both before the formation of the contract and during its execution, seeks an informed consent, in the matter of bank deposits it focuses on information on the conditions under which the deposit is guaranteed. The elements of the information obligation indicated above are investigated in extenso.
