European Union foreign and security policy under the Lisbon Treaty

Summary/Abstract: The author analyses provisions related to Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union, as they are adopted in the Treaty of Lisbon, and compares them to the previous level of CFSP development. The accent is onthe role of High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and SecurityPolicy. The third part of this article is about implications of the Treaty of Lisbon changes in CFSP for Serbia and its potential membership in the EU, regarding the problem of Kosovo.
