Summary/Abstract: Central and East-European medal collections have as important representatives, among many others, the pieces issued during the 68 year reign of emperor Francisc Iosif I of Austria. Some of these patrimony pieces, which cover the entire period between 1848 and 1916, can also be found in the collections of Bacau museum.
