Summary/Abstract: During the World War II, many communists, that disseminated propaganda and helped prisoners and had connections with communists from Bacau and Bucharest, were active at Târgu-Ocna. Some of them were permanently active while others chose to leave to USSR or got arrested by the authorities and sent to prison. After the World War II, some of the communists got high positions, others got only the satisfaction that they fought for an ideal, which became (un)attainable.
